Everything in life requires standard, setting standard for yourself on how others treat you, will determine what you will put up with or settled for. This goes across the board in terms of life choices whether it is your friendship, job, health, wealth, self-discipline and relationship. Maintain standard to know what you deserve and everything that you set hope and aspiration for, that is having positive habits and discipline.
Having standards keep you strong and focus, standard set up your life for success and also keep you grounded. When you know who you are and what you are about, your self-worth will not be limited and you won’t constantly seeking validation from people that mean you no good. I use to be so addicted to settling, people pleasing and overworking because I cared so much what other people think, resting when I’m exhausted treating rest as reward. I had to stop doing all of that and know that burnout is real and rest is vital. I am so grateful for where I am at knowing where I was.
