How dare you say NO to me? Saying and accepting the word no is a daily fight, especially when you are known as the YES person. Believe it or not saying no is not the end of the world; I was a people pleaser however I had to learn the art of saying no to people and things that were not uplifting or benefiting to me. Trust me this was not an easy task, it’s like breaking a bad habit and anyone knows how hard this is.

If you are a caring and considerate person it a bit harder and that I definitely understand. I was captain HELP and SAVE everyone, until a little birdie told me, you cannot pour from an empty cup. LIGHT BULB! The fact is that is does not matter how much is done, it will never be enough. You give and give and become mentally drained and are resentful because you never wanted to do it in the first place. Some people adapt a using mechanism from an early age in life. It’s up to you to be in charge and take back your power.

I had to dig up maturity, but when I tell the first no its like weight lifted off my shoulders, I was basically on a hamster wheel of wanting to say more no’s when it was super necessary. Finally your girl had control over her life I thought, but then came the entitlement, guilt trip and the immaturity of others that I have enabled in the past.
